How do I find solid/dedicated outside b2b sales people?
I have a start up company and need to find people willing to work on a commission only basis. We do offer a great residual on each account, but the lack of initial base seems to throw off our best prospects. Am I stuck recruiting the "biz op burnouts"? I do not want to adopt a "Churn and Burn" employee mentality, but it seems (from where I am now) that may simply be what is needed at this time.
I would love to hear from somebody who’s been here before!
Thats nice…But u have to proove ur identity of the company and its pay details to the employee (or freelancer ) clearly ,before starting the work…

Using ‘social media’ to raise the profile of an organisation? how?
I have a job interview next week at a college, and need to prepare for a presentation. (ten mins). Marketing / PR Officer.
The task is to explain how "I would use social media to raise the profile of the college, and attract / recruit new students".
I don’t know tonnes about social media…. Maybe someone is out there in the UK or wherever who can give me a heads up on this or marketing.
Thanks.
You should not only set up MySpace and Face Book accounts, but also a Twitter account where you’ll be able to send immediate information to current or new students. You’ll be able to tweet your registration "Call to Action" page via Bit.Ly. Using a Bit.Ly will help you to track the number of clicks and re-tweets if you sign up for an account with them.
Friend Finder is much like Twitter. You should also use LinkedIn and create an Alumni group for the school and also a recruitment group and link the two together so your Alumni and prospects can inter-connect. E-mail is also a good thing, but could be too time consuming and might appear "spammy".
Also, ask a few businesses on Twitter (click the link in the bio) and see how They use social media for their businesses.
Here is an article I wrote on "Social Media and Reciprocity" http://bit.ly/9TWbxd

How social media marketing services help to grow your business?
nil
I agree to Ajay, some additions:-
CSR or social marketing works for a known organisation, it is practised by well-established org. only. CSR for newly born org. is of no value except for NGOs working with Govt. collaboration towards a social cause. 1-This takes a hell lot of investment to practise CSR.
2-The ROI is not visible in short run,but brings in Cash inflow & Goodwill in the market in long-run.
3- Example: TATA,Idea ,Aircel(Save our tiger campaign,1411 magic no.)
4-CSR doesnot indicate responsibility towards society to knowledgable persons but sends + impression to common man & brings business in form of Goodwill & brand image.
5-So NEVER get immotional next time you come across such campaign,it is a marketing tool ONLY.

I want to get started in SEO where do I start. Can anyone point me in the right direction.?
I’m currently a marketing major in college. I’m want to get started in Internet marketing, SEO, and SEM. I’ve been reading everything I can of those subjects, plus google analytic.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) now-a-days covers quite a range of items that your website will need.
First of all there is no single item that will do the trick. Its a combination of of various pieces to the puzzle. Part of it lies within your website and the other part you can call an "outreach" program by getting your links onto other websites (e.g. blogs, social bookmarks, forums, press releases, etc)
Outside of that you also are missing a DocType in your HTML code. Take a look here:
http://www.w3.org/QA/2002/04/valid-dtd-list.html
While you’re at the W3C take a look at your validation errors too:
http://validator.w3.org/
We have an article that we wrote you can read here:
http://www.smartfindsmarketing.com/articles.php?p=articles_define_marketing
Also, touch base with Webmaster forums for more information like the following three:
http://forums.digitalpoint.com/
http://www.v7n.com/forums/
http://www.warriorforum.com/forum/
Also, here is another good resource:
http://www.seochat.com
One last thing. You will need to get into the process of generator a sitemap of your website regularly as a sitemap.xml file. You can read more about this at http://www.sitemaps.org created by Google, Yahoo and MSN and you will need a sitemap generator at http://www.smartfindsmarketing.com/xml_sitemaps.php You can then submit your sitemaps to the search engines in their respective areas.
Learn about Link Popularity, Google Page Rank, Alexa Traffic Rank, Keyword Density
Hope this helps
