are there any b2b business that target SMB segment in the US?
b2b means business to business. SMB is small and medium business. Looking at startups focusing on this segment.
I need a couple of examples of a successful B2B ventures started in the last 1 year that had catered to any segment in SMB. I am thinking of a startup in that area and would like to explore further on what others have done.
This question is much too vague. Do you have a certain industry to focus on? There are millions or businesses in the US that cater to small and medium-sized businesses, be more specific.
What are some B2B marketing ideas besides telemarketing?
My company has done all of their past sales campaigns by telemarketing (and one complete failure with mailing postcards). I am now tasked with our next sales drive, and since I know telemarketing is no longer a good sales practice I don’t know how to proceed…and sell a more modern idea to a CEO that still believes in telemarketing…
We are a B2B discount association with paid dues, focusing on small businesses.
Yes, postcard and general mail marketing is difficult to justify. 10% return mail/call rates are normal, and 10-15% of those close on average. (that relates to 1 sale for every 200 mailings! ouch!)
-I think pounding the street is a very viable method to work B2B marketing. Closing ratios are higher.
-Industry magazines and newspaper advertising is a direct and effective way to advertise as well.
-Trade shows are another great use, and affordable means to market to other small businesses

What are the advantages of black hat SEO?
Well, the basic principle of SEO is to generated visitors of one website, right? But it is so lamed to "click here" and "click that" using Social Bookmarking, is there a faster way to generate links using black hat SEO? i am so curious about it.
SEO guy has a good point. My site is new and is on top 4 of google for the term "guaranteeing results from advertising" the site is http://www.netadvertisinggroup.com I used a long keyword phrase.
Use long keyword phrases for a new site and build them smaller as they go on. this is a 4 word phrase my next goal is the phrase "guaranteeing advertising results" wich is currently on the 4th page of google the next step will be two word phrases like ad agency
On "Black Hat" It works for a short time then leaves you in the gutter. Don’t use them because you can get banned. Also they tend not to create repeat business which is what make you money, bringing the consumer back.
